The 21st State Karate Championship 2025, organized by the Sikkim Karate Do Association, concluded on April 27, 2025, in Gangtok, with impressive displays of martial arts talent from across the six districts of Sikkim. The event, held from April 26 to 27, brought together participants, coaches, and sports enthusiasts to celebrate the discipline and skill of karate.

Shri Lok Nath Sharma, the Honourable Member of the Legislative Assembly (HMLA) for Geyzing Bermiok Constituency, graced the final day of the championship as the Chief Guest, while Shri Jacob Khaling, Political Secretary to the Honourable Chief Minister, attended as the Guest of Honour. The event was also attended by several distinguished guests, including Shri Suman Tamang, Shri Rajen Subba, Shri Ganga Limboo, and Dr. R.B. Biswakarma, who sponsored the official T-shirts for guests and committee members.

Gangtok District emerged as the Best Team after a tightly contested medal tally, solidifying their place at the top with a series of remarkable performances. The competition not only celebrated athletic prowess but also underscored the spirit of sportsmanship and teamwork that is integral to the martial arts community in Sikkim.
