BJP Sikkim launches Ayushman Bharat Card drive in West Sikkim
The drive is part of the Central Government’s flagship health insurance scheme, which provides financial protection for secondary and tertiary healthcare across public and private empanelled hospitals in India.

The BJP Sikkim team, under the leadership of State President Shri DR Thapa, successfully launched an Ayushman Bharat Card generation and distribution drive at Darap under Yangthang Constituency in West Sikkim.
The initiative, led by BJP Mandal President Shri Sanchaman Limboo and supported by IT Executive Shri Bhim Chettri and Abhinash Sharma, aimed at providing senior citizens above 70 years with Ayushman Cards, enabling them to avail free medical treatment worth ₹5 lakhs per year under the Ayushman Bharat - Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY).
