The 6-day Discover Ravong Chojo Fest 2025 concluded on a thrilling note with the grand finale of the Sikkim Fight Night boxing competition, drawing an enthusiastic crowd and the presence of several dignitaries, including Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Held on the evening of April 16, the boxing competition featured high-octane bouts between skilled boxers from Sikkim and Nepal. The event was marked by intense energy, powerful performances, and a display of exceptional sportsmanship, captivating hundreds of sports enthusiasts who had gathered to witness the spectacle.

The prizes were given in recognition of the boxers’ outstanding performance and commitment to the sport. The Chief Minister commended the athletes for their discipline and determination, and emphasized the need to promote boxing and other sports at the grassroots level to build a healthier and more dynamic youth community.
The evening also saw the attendance of several other key personalities, including Sikkim Legislative Assembly Speaker MN Sherpa, Vice President Rajkumari Thapa, Ravong MLA Ricksal Dorji Bhotia, cabinet ministers, MLAs, Political Secretary to the Chief Minister Jacob Khaling, Press Secretary to the Chief Minister Yugen Tamang, and other senior officials.
The Sikkim Fight Night served as the grand finale to the Discover Ravong Chojo Fest 2025, which began on April 11 and featured a vibrant mix of cultural programs, traditional music and dance, and thrilling adventure sports. The festival celebrated the unique cultural heritage and natural beauty of Ravong, offering both locals and tourists an immersive experience.
