SSB organizes awareness program at Saraswati Academy, Utare on social issues
Students from the academy participated enthusiastically, presenting essays that reflected their understanding and commitment to the issues of gender equality and the harmful effects of drugs.

An awareness program was successfully conducted at Saraswati Academy, Utare, under the guidance of the Commandant of 36 Battalion SSB, Geyzing. The program focused on two key themes — "Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao" (Save the Girl Child, Educate the Girl Child) and "Say No to Drugs." The event aimed at fostering a sense of responsibility among students and promoting gender equality and a drug-free lifestyle.
As part of the program, an essay competition was organized, allowing students to express their thoughts on these pressing social matters. The competition covered two main themes:

Students from the academy participated enthusiastically, presenting essays that reflected their understanding and commitment to the issues of gender equality and the harmful effects of drugs. The essays demonstrated the creativity, research skills, and awareness of the young minds.
After careful evaluation, the top three entries from each theme were selected, and prizes were awarded to encourage the students’ efforts and acknowledge their insights. The event not only celebrated the creativity of the students but also highlighted the importance of educating them on social matters that shape the future of society.
The event culminated in a motivational speech by Neeraj Kr Mishra, Assistant Commandant, A-Coy, 36 Bn SSB, Utare. Mishra emphasized the significance of empowering girls through education and the need for adopting a healthy, drug-free lifestyle, urging the students to be role models for their peers.
